It is hard to uninstall Windows bundled applications. Some users just delete their folders from the Program Files. You must refrain from doing so. Doing this can cause more problems on your system, and may even render it useless. It is also recommended that you use an efficient registry cleaner program such as Registryfix to scan the registry for any entries left over by the uninstalled updates and remove them from your system. Remember, that uninstalling a software by following the correct procedure and keeping your registry free of unwanted information will help keep your PC in good health for a long time.

Microsoft Windows Media Player is installed as a Windows component along with Windows operating systems. In this article we just tell you how to uninstall Windows Media Player updates. To uninstall other more applications, please go to www.perfect-uninstaller.com and download the best uninstall programme or download it here for the free trial.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \SOFTWARE \MicrosoftWindows\ Current Version \Uninstall
Note: Under this key, you will find entries for all the applications installed on your computer.
Step3: Click on the entry for Media Player 10 beta, Media Player 11, and any other update you want to remove. On the right two strings will be displayed: DisplayName and UninstallString.
